Linux Mint 12 "Lisa" and the 3 DEs

As we all know many articles have been posted and many have expressed how much they don't like Unity and/or Gnome3 DE of the new releases of Ubuntu. The number 1 alternative ubuntu-based release so far is as we all know Linux Mint but they, as the rest of us, understand how hard is it to use unity so they came up with Linux Mint 12 and to be practical they bring it with 3 choices for a DE. They started developing a layer called MGSE to be placed upon Gnome 3 and make it as usefull as gnome2 was by trying to make it look alike gnome2 rather gnome3 that the layer works with. So they combine the fact that they have to move up in the world and embrace Gnome 3 but at the same time trying to bring the familiar characteristics of gnome2 as many as they can to make Gnome 3 as practical it's former version was.
